On January 24, 2024, WCFO, witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Solidaridad West Africa-Ghana and the Department of Cooperatives in Accra Ghana.

The signing of this MoU marks a significant milestone in our collective efforts to advance the interests of cocoa farmers in Ghana. By formalizing the collaboration between Solidaridad West Africa-Ghana and the Department of Cooperatives, we are paving the way for enhanced support and cooperation in forming regional and national cooperative associations for cocoa farmers across the country.

The Department of Cooperatives plays a pivotal role in providing support and guidance to cooperative initiatives in Ghana. Their involvement in this partnership underscores the importance of establishing strong cooperative associations in Ghana.
